A sequel to the birding book that captured people's hearts - Bob the Robin & Friends continues the story of Tony and the birds he meets in the garden. Following the loss of Bob at the end of the first book, Tony feels the grief of his friend and reflects on what happens to those who remain after a loved one is gone. As tony continues to work the garden, he discovers a new robin that he suspects is related to Bob - Bobbin. Bobbin pairs up with Bobette and Tony observes the two of them, just as Bob and Betty worked together during the mating season a few years back. But when Bobbin disappears, Tony fears the worst.
